Everyone’s always asking us about our almost world-famous Island Mojo Sauce. Well, today I will tell you how it came to be. Believe it or not, it all started as a happy accident about seven years ago while I was messing around in the kitchen prepping a meal. My last words before it happened? “Oops!”
Everyone’s always asking us about our almost world-famous Island Mojo Sauce. Well, today I will tell you how it came to be. Believe it or not, it all started as a happy accident about seven years ago while I was messing around in the kitchen prepping a meal. My last words before it happened? “Oops!”

Little did I know, that “ooops” would turn into one of the key ingredients in so many of our dishes! Over time, we discovered that this sauce could find a home in any kitchen, in any culture. It’s a flavor-packed multi-tasker—perfect as a marinade, for pre-cooking, post-cooking, salads, poultry, meats…you name it!


Thanks to that little kitchen mishap, Island Mojo Sauce is now a staple we can’t live without—and we hope you’ll feel the same.
