Whatever you call them, there are thousands of ways to cook them. We’ve mastered a few, which is why they’re always on our menu! Not only are they insanely delicious (yes, even deep-fried—don’t judge me), but they’re also packed with Vitamin C, fiber, and Vitamin B6. Who knew something so tasty could be healthy-ish?
True story: I fry six and eat one before they even hit the plate. It’s called quality control, okay? Plantains are basically the VIP sidekick to most of our meals. If my grandma could see me now, she’d probably laugh and tell me to fry more.
